All lines

A budget is just a sheet: income, expenses in sections, a subtotal under each, and a savings line. Change one amount and everything updates; the sheet stays until next month.

How to keep a budget on a sheet

Each line is an item with an amount: rent: 1 200. A # heading starts a section and subtotal adds up only that section. Named amounts can be used later: savings = salary - fixed - everyday. The line pctof(savings; salary) shows what share of your income you keep.

Common questions

How do I start next month's budget?

Click “⋯” next to the sheet tab and choose Duplicate. The new sheet keeps every item; just update the amounts.

How do I see expenses as a share of income?

pctof(fixed; salary) gives the percentage. To compare with last month, write change from 1 835 to 1 900.

Is the sheet saved?

Yes, automatically, in your browser on this device. You can download a backup from the Export menu, or send the sheet to another device with a Share link.
