Copy numbers from an invoice, a bank statement or a spreadsheet and paste them here. The calculator reads 945 546,239, 1,234.56 and $12,500 without any retyping and adds them up on one total line.
Every line holds one number or expression, and the answer appears on the right. Write total to add up all the lines above, or subtotal to add up only the current section. The bar under the sheet always shows the sum, count, average, minimum and maximum.
Numbers are read the way people write them: spaces or commas between thousands, a dot or a comma for decimals, a currency sign before or after. Select several lines and the bar shows the figures for those lines only.
10 20 30 gives 60.$12,500 + $3,000 + $450.1,234.56 + 2,345.67 + 3,456.78.Milk 4.50 counts as 4.50.| You type | You get |
|---|---|
| 1 045 582,084 | |
| 60 | |
| $15 950 | |
| 7 037.01 | |
| 4.5 | |
| 4 378.9375 |
Check that each number is on its own line, or that numbers on one line are separated by spaces. A line without digits is treated as a note. If a number is mistyped, a short reason appears on the right and the status line under the sheet explains it.
Click the answer on the right. It is copied without thousands separators, so Excel and Google Sheets accept it as a number. The Export menu can also download the whole sheet as CSV.
Yes. Copy the column and paste it into the calculator; each cell becomes a line. Extra spaces and currency signs do not get in the way.
